Connect KakaoTalk

Connect your KakaoTalk Channel so OneChat answers customers in Korea where they already chat.

Prerequisites

• A KakaoTalk Channel for your business (create one at the Kakao Business Channel Admin Center).
• Admin access to that channel.

Steps

1. In the OneChat dashboard, open Channels → KakaoTalk → Connect.
2. Sign in with your Kakao Business account and authorize OneChat.
3. Select the channel you want to connect and complete the authorization.
4. If the channel has Kakao's own auto-reply or another chatbot attached, disable it so replies don't collide.
5. Message your channel from your personal KakaoTalk to test — the conversation appears in the OneChat dashboard.

Notes

• Replies are sent from your KakaoTalk Channel, so customers see your brand.
• Korean-language questions get Korean replies automatically — and so does any other of the 55+ supported languages. See Languages.
• Escalations arrive in Slack with the full conversation attached.
