Voice notes
Customers on LINE and WhatsApp love voice messages. OneChat transcribes them and answers like any other message — no "sorry, I can only read text."
How it works
- A customer sends a voice note on LINE or WhatsApp.
- OneChat transcribes it automatically, in the language it was spoken.
- The agent answers the transcribed question as a normal text reply, following your instructions.
- In the dashboard, the conversation shows both the transcription and the reply, so you always see what the agent understood.
Notes
- Transcription is included in your plan — a conversation containing voice notes counts the same as any other conversation. See Plans & billing.
- Language detection applies to voice too: a voice note in Thai gets a Thai reply.
- If a recording is unintelligible (wind, background noise), the agent asks the customer to repeat or type the question rather than guessing — and escalates to a human if it keeps failing, per your handoff rules.
